Well we all break copyright laws almost everyday so I'm not to worried.  You ever record a movie off TV well that's illegal, and so is a whole plethora of stuff people do everyday, but that doesn't stop me .


As far as bootleg stuff goes, I have as much if not more than most people so I'm not to worried .

Japanese games are legal to download, seeing as how there are no American copyrights for them. But if the intelectual property IS copyrighted, ex: Mario, Sonic, or w/e it would be illegal. It is sort of complicated, but if you ever get in that situation technicalities can save your butt. All America copyrights stand for, I think, 99 years, then thay are void. Maybe I should be a lawyer...OBJECTION!

What it comes down to is simple.


Is it illegal? Sort of, yes.


Is anyone going to say anything about you downloading them? No.

Yeah, since Japanese games don't have any American counterpart, none of those laws apply to them. So feel free to download all of them that you want to.


On second thought, download any of them you want to, no one gives a flip.

The only thing that the government really watches for is child porn, but other than that there's not much you can't download .


Contrary to popular belief, I DO NOT LOOK AT CHILD PORN, so don't even think that I do; I'm just stating a plane and simple fact that you can hear about on CNN or whatever news you prefer .
