Paradoxes have to be phrases, like "I always lie," but we get what you're saying. Reality TV isn't real.

This was evident when it was revealed that the first season of Survivor was rigged. Which sucks, cause I really liked Survivor and my mom still watches it to this day.

The other penny is often discarded at the counter's of services stations, and supposedly helps needy children. However, the clerks often take this spare change and pocket it, saving up for an extra can of tobacco or a pack of smokes.

To Jena/Mitch's question:

It's hard to tell. Many times, people are practically 'forced through the system' because the people who are having to teach them DESPISE them, and NEVER want to see them again. I've heard of this Mrs. James, and I've heard all of the stuff about her. In her case, I can safely say that she was just a dumb@$$ who shouldn't be teaching.

In general though, it's hard to say why teachers lose homework. Sometimes they legitimately lose it (Mr. Myers at my school is awesome, but he lost someones homework once, although he didn't count it against them). Sometimes they screw around and lose it, but won't admit it. You be the judge.

To Kaney:

Well, there are different things. Those who are caught trying to illegally enter the US should definately have some sort of punishment (I can understand that life may be horrible in their country, but still...coming into our country illegally and then demanding rights? That's bull). Punishments would range according to the offence (as in, if they run from the border patrol, it would be stiffer than someone who just willingly put their arms up). I don't think there's any reason to get violent with them unless provoked, but I definately don't think they should just get a slap on the wrist and a "Don't do it again."

Boy, what the hell is with people and their hatred towards the Jews? It's ridiculous (I understand that they act all holier than thou at times and complain about a lot, but that's no different than several other ethnic groups). I happen to have Jewish friends, and I've never heard them bitch or gripe about anything (OR act 'holier than thou', for that matter), so I don't see the big thing about it.

Black people scream about discrimination. Jewish people gripe about stuff that happened in the past and demand certain things. Mexican people (both legal and illegal) demand that Spanish should be taught in our schools and that they should have the same rights (if their legal, it's legit, but not illegal).

What do white people do? We do some of the same crap, but we aren't as vocal about it. So, if we started bitching about discrimination/rights/etc., how would we be any better?

Sorry, it just pisses me off for my friends (who are Jewish) to see everyone diss them.
