Nice rendition of Snake, Snake. So, are you adding the silencer to your picture, or are you going to leave it off because you play without the silencer or something?
It says a lot about a man who doesn't use a sliencer on his weapons. Not afraid of a good old firefight. I know I'm not. But then again, your rating at the end of the game would drop a bit.....
Well, I originally had the silencer on it, but I thought it looked better without it...so I took it off. As you can also notice, I gave him the haircut from MGS and cropped the mullet.

The mullet is the source of Snake's power. To remove it would make him as stealthy as a freight train runing through a crowded amphitheater with each of the people there holding sticks of TNT.
Okay, I'm taking a small break from the Snake picture. I may actually just scrap it and start again. It was a little ambitious for a first try, but it definately gave me some experience. Here's another pic that I've been working on. The line art is finished, I just need to color it.
Follow-Up:
Okay, after SEVERAL hours, I've got it pretty much finished. I've still gotta do some tweaks here and there, and add a background, but the picture itself is pretty much done:
This image was done in Adobe Photoshop 7.0, using the Pen tool and a reference picture (that means I didn't come up with the picture concept, but I did everything on the pic myself). It took about 11 hours over two days to start and finish it.

Allrighty, got it done. Added a background and did some small tweakage.

well i've got a bootleg of adobe photoshop 8.0 and C.S. so i should install the software and tinker around a little bit myself, but i don't have a pen tool so that could get a little interesting
well i see not everyone doesn't like my hairstyle ideas but who says that there's even such a thing as bad publicity

Ummm....Kaney, the pen tool is part of photoshop, like the line tool, or the gradient tool. You're thinking of a wacomb tablet. And neither of us use those.
A Wacomb tablet would be kinda handy to have, though.
Kaney, I use Photoshop 7.0 and CS2 9.0, and they both have the same tool menu, so I'm guessing 8.0 has it as well. When you look at the tool menu (the bar on the far left), you'll see 8 tiers (seperated areas) of tools, the first being at the very top and the last being at the bottom. The pen tool is located on the third tier, at the bottom left.
Oh, at by the way, nice job on the Goku pic Mura. Nice use of shading.
