hey guys i've been thinking and well even though it hasn't made much progress on the xenogears god and mind forum that i'm also a member on, what about if we made a role-playing section or thread? you know pick a story and characters kinda like d & d kinda stuff. any feed back welcome.

i guess the real question would be to agree on a type of game and go with it. if its any help, the one that i was doing on xgam was about artifacts and was almost like a modern day indiana jones kinda thing, i guess we'd have to have bad guys and good guys. well, i'll think about it later when i'm more coherrent.

i don't think that it would matter how active an individual memeber is because the other ones could continue from their perspectives if you or another member wasn't. i may later on post suggestions for a possible topic to role play on. i've got some ideas and i'll post for input later.

well as far as it goes if it all pans out then whoever would want to be involved in it, then those involved will have to agree on a basic story to go with, and some people will have to have bad guy and good guy characters, i'll be one of the bad guys.

I like your character KK because it would be creepy to run into a guy that had been out of touch with humanity for twenty years or so. Well, I've got to go now, but I'll try to get on here later this weekend. I won't be able to spend this one with Brandon because he has some work for school this weekend.

okay johar bear with me here, i'm really not good at explaining things. lets pretend for a minute that the members of this forum were sitting at a table instead of being online and we all have picked/made a character for a role playing story game okay. now i'll post dialogue and actions on one post and then lets say mitch, mura, or snake posts the next action made by their character and so forth and so on. its like sitting around and playing a game over the phone with one another. you have a turn, then someone else has a turn and you get the picture.

yep all you have to do if you wanna join is to make a character based off what type of story we're doing. you wouldn't have a knight from camelot riding around on a space ship right or a starfleet captain in the lotor trilogy right so just go to the prep thread in the gaming section and post your character and when i get the things done with i'll start the game, and it'll evolve from there

Hmmmm....here's a suggestion. Wouldn't it be a bit more fun if we didn't post who our character was here?
Like, when the RP section is ready, we'd just put our character's description in the profile. It'd be a bit more like a role playing experience if we couldn't tie the characters to the actual people, wouldn't you think?
yeah good point mitch. but if they don't then atleast give us a little tidbit in the prep thread in gaming. i plan on my character being kind of a darker version of myself. think evil kaney kids.

anyhow lets get out our umbrellas so that tom's shower doesn't drench us. i want make a revision to the appearence of the isa windrunner, i found a pic of this ship from the movie 2010 and it fit more of what i would picture for the windrunner than the mars one from red planet. i'll post it later when i have time to get on and host it.
