What do you mean, exactly? If you mean that I'm criticizing her, well, I am, but she deserves it. Kaney didn't go on and on about not having a significant other. In fact, it would seem to me that he's perfectly content in not having one (which may be a good thing).

My point is, I've tried helping her, it didn't work and there's nothing else I can do to help her, so she should stop asking and do things on her own instead of hiding behind her friends.

And I've said it over and over: She has to do this herself. No one else can do it for her, and if they do, she'll come off as weak, needy, and desperate. You're not weak, needy, and desperate, are you? I didn't think so.

Tom didn't criticise your friend about bitching about being alone. What I'm saying is, is that when tom got pissed off at your friend for moaning about how his life "sucked" when there were so many others who had it worse than him... Hell, I'm sure Tom has heard that from alot of people and he got tired of everyone always being so damn insecure and selfish and he just lashed out at your friend. You're doing the same damn thing man. You don't want to listen to her moan? Then don't read her posts. Yea, she needs to take some action herself, but you being an ass isn't gonna help motivate her to do so.

oh and to answer the question about baseball bats. the reason that glass ones are better than wooden one is because glass ones shatter and leave shards of glass in a person's head when beat to death with one

so, I made the first move. I talked to him online first by sending him a message on myspace. I asked him to go with me and my friends on Friday and he said yes. I got his address and phone number. I gave him my phone number, too. He called me last night and we talked for like 40 minutes. We would have talked longer but I had to go to sleep. He also told me that he works at Krogers and said that I could stop by and see him. And he said he'll call me Wednesday after church. Ok, I'm askin' now does anyone think he likes me?

He might, atleast he's showing some interest in you, but I'm gonna warn you right now not to expect that call. He might call, but he might not. And if he doesn't call you on the day he says he will don't think that means you have no chance with him, sometimes people get busy, forget, or just don't want to seem to desperate, so they end up not calling on time. 1.) He hates you and would rather suffer bowel obstruction than see or hear from you again, much less have a relationship.

2.) He hasn't got to it yet.

3.) He finally realized that MySpace is a waste of internet space and got some real friends.

4.) Finds women in .JPEG format much more appealing than real women.

I'm gonna say it's #2. Let's go with that.
