Everyone likes to rant, right? This thread is to rant about things that bug you, or for pur complaining. Ill start the ball rolling.

WHAT THE CRAP IS UP WITH THE FREAKING INTERNET ABBREVIATIONS ON FORUMS???? Are people HONESTLY just to darn lazy to type out Thanks instead of Thanx??? I mean, come on, it just makes the person look stupid! I can understand the occasional spelling error and mis-capitalization, but when a person types 2 instead of to or U instead of You it makes them look ignorant! WOW, you save ALMOST a WHOLE second by saying thx instead of thanks! HEY, with that second you could get your hand HALF-WAY to your nose, in order to pick it, so it MUST be worth! ITS JUST FRICKING IGNORANT.

WHATS UP WITH LITTLE WHITE KIDS TRYING TO USE EBONICS??? Now THEY are incredibly stupid. My little cousin has recently picked up the whole ebonic thing....calls me 'cuz' when he walks in, yells "OH SNAP" when I kill something in a game, and several other things. I literally want to pick him up and chuck him through a window when he does this. AGAIN, ITS FRICKING IGNORANT.

WHY ARE MEN AND WOMEN OF DIFFERENT ETHNIC GROUPS, ALONG WITH WHITE WOMEN, TREATED LIKE ROYALTY??? What did they do to deserve this? They wouldnt shut up until they were treated fairly, thats what. Im all for people being treated equally, but recently white men are treated like crap in the big scheme! What do WE have to do to be treated equally? Maybe Im overexaggerating, but thats definately the way it seems. I SHOULDNT GET IN TROUBLE FOR CALLING SOMEONE BLACK, WHEN THEY CAN CALL ME WHITE AND NOT GET ANY FLACK.

I really don't see to much of a problm with people using some bonics, I often do so myself... There are a few people that annoy me with it though... but those are the EXTREME cases... the people who wear there pants at there ankles, have some crappy "bling" on them constantly and end up using the slang so excessively that it doesn't even make sense any more, you know, when they soun like they're just randomly spouting out ever slang word they know... Theres one specific white person at my school that sometimes seems like this... But over all its not too bad... Perhaps its because there is so much "ghettoness" at my scholl that I'v become accustomed to it...

I still stand by my beleif that the world would be a better place if EVERYONE just shut the hell up... And gave me there money, of course. >_>;;

the thing that bugs the crap out of me is the fact that i'm one of those people who knows a fair amount about electronics and computers and everytime someone has a freakin' problem with their computer, or other electronic equipment i.e. vcrs and watches they always come to me and go kaney can you fix it?  and ofcourse i ask did you read the instructions?  then they say no, and i get pissed because they are like i'm too good to read instructions, and you know all about this stuff kaney, and i know you'll do it.  i swear that one of these days when someone does this with me again i'll just hand them the instructions and say figure it out yourself.  then i'll tell them to read their instructions, and they'll say oh i wouldn't understand them, instructions are like greek.  and then i'll say that oh its not like rocket science idiot. gosh sometimes that i wish i didn't know about electronics because of those people i like to call electric leeches would bother someone else


oh well, as far as the abbreviations i've learned to live with them, but i don't know a lot of them so i get frustrated trying to figure them out, i do wish that people would take the couple of extra milli seconds to spell out the entire word of thanks instead of thx.

Why the freak do guys act one way around their girlfriends and then when their friends come around they are total asses...Iam not saying all guys are but Dang!!!! It ticks me off soooooooo much that I wanna hit my F-ing boyfriend in the head with a 2X4 a 10000000 times! Is there at lease on guy out there that is the same no matter what?


Another thing that gets me upset is Why the heck do blacks think they got it so dang bad? always bringing up slavery and stuff....Whites were slaves at a time too. Grrrrz! I just dont understand...no if the South had won then they could complain...

Ok, in seriousness, I act the same way around both. Maybe a little more polite with women, but basically the same. If my friends come around, I may joke around, but not at the girls expense. Thats just rude. Some guys are rumps about it, no doubt, but there ARE a few gentlemen left.

Well,I act more politely towards women, but I like it when I can be myself around girls. I think what Princess Garnet is saying is that she would prefer it if her boyfriend (or whatever he is right now) would just act like himself all the time.


Although it can be hard sometimes, especially when you're trying to impress someone.

another thing that just drives me crazy is these lovely little rednecks that live around this place that will actually start fights because one of them like ford better than chevrolet, or chevrolet better than ford or some other brand.  i mean that in today's world it doesn't really matter what kind of car you own they're all about the same. 


see for me i don't really care much about the brand of the car as much as if it is in good working order.

I know! I keep telling a certain someone that exact same thing all the time about cars! (You know who you are.)


He's all the time saying stuff like "Well, my car can go faster than yours, blah, blah, blah." and I'm like "First of all, it doesn't matter. Second of all, how do you know? And third of all, why would you want to go faster than me when I always drive at the speed limit? Sometimes I even go five miles over the limit, so if you're going faster than me, I'll just laugh while you call your mom to come pay your bail."

okay one thing that annoys me is that one of my friends (don't worry its none of you from this forum) likes star trek a little too much.  i mean i like the show, but it doesn't control my life. whenever i go to my friends house to hang out when it is just me and him, he always wants to play star trek, but not a star trek video game mind you.  he wants to put on a uniform, badge, and rank and be captain kirk, or something or other, and to beat all he is 18, and i mean this was fine when he was 12, but i mean what makes him think that i want to do that kind of crap now.  i always have to tell him no i won't dress up for you and be the evil klingon or something, tell that i willing to do a two player video game that involves star trek, but that is as far as it goes, i mean will he ever grow up dang it!

yeah he drives me crazy with star trek, i spent the night at his house last night, and he tried to get me to play star trek with, but i told him that look i'm willing to put star trek armada on my computer, and play that with him, but he is determined to break my sanity.

my little cousins are obsessed with star wars....thats not as bad as an 18 year old, but still,I love them very much and all... but playing starwars with them 24/7 can get a little bit annoying sometimes.

okay another rant: you know i hate how you always have to take stupid classes in school. even in college i'm having to take crap that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH COMPUTER SCIENCE! in college.  why in the HE** DO I NEED TO TAKE ENGLISH, A FOREIGN LANGUAGE, BIOLOGY, AND SEVERAL OTHER CLASSES SO THAT I CAN GO OUT INTO MY CAREER AND TYPE LINE AFTER LINE OF CODE FOR SOFTWARE OR USE PROGRAMS TO DO THINGS RELATED TO COMPUTERS

They should just have it so that if you take Drama, you don't need school.


See, with Drama, you get all the essentials.


English, Math, Shop, Science (Well, sort of....), Social Studies (And a lot of it!), and a liitle bit of History.


It's like a pizza with all the food groups........and less heartburn.
