Well, nowadays, I don't judge games until I play them, but since this is a ground-up remake of Conker's BFD, and it's my favorite N64 game, then I know it'll be awesome!!

But yeah, you should buy it anyways.....even if I don't tell you about the new one....which I will, don't get me wrong.

It is now 2:11 PM on Monday, June 20th, of the year 2005.

And Conker: Live and Reloaded will be released tomorrow morning!

Of course, since I preordered it, I will be getting it before the majority of people....who didn't preorder it at least.

Okay, time to review Conker.

Single player: Basically the same as Conker's Bad Fur Day with a slightly different battle system.....which is better than the original since BFD didn't have a battle sytem. (Unless pressing "B" to swing a frying pan at an immortal enemy is fighting....which, of course, it isn't....) Anyways, it's complicated, so you just need to try it yourself.

Multiplayer: An awesome upgrade from the original. It is branched into "Old War" and "Future War" in which you can either play as the SHC (Squirrel High Command) or the evil Tediz (who are basically a bunch of evil Nazi teddy bears.). The different classes and abilities are what separate Conker: Live and Reloaded from Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Grunts: They have machine guns and they work well against other troops. They can even shoot Dum-Dums to damage and destroy vehicles.

Demolishers: One word describes these guys......"BOOM". They are equipeed with Rocket Launchers which they have at the start and get miniguns (which own) when they get upgrades. Nuff said....but it's also worth pointing out that they aren't very fast.

Incinerators: "The class for the mentally unstable" or so says Chris Seavor, Conker's creator. They have flamethrowers that can shoot fire, which owns troops, and acid, which owns vehicles.

Sneekers: Not "sneakers" cos that's a shoe. Anyways, these guys (or girls if you are a squirrel) can hack terminals and cloak themselves as well as disguise themselves as enemy troops (which I would not reccomend doing since your teammates can mistake you for an enemy.). they can even feign death, which works well, until someone runs over you with a tank thinking that you're already dead. Don't play as a Sneeker unless you are good at throwing knives or work well without a gun, cos a sword and some grenades are all you get. A class only suitable for Conker Gurus.

Long Rangers: Snipers. I like 'em. They perform pretty well, if you're a good distance away from the enemy. If you have upgrades, you'll get two handguns like the Skyjockeys.

Skyjockeys: They have two handguns and are the only class that can pilot planes and the like. They can be difficult to master, but not as difficult as Sneekers.

In conclusion, the game is best played with Xbox Live (which I hope to be getting soon.). There is a bunch of downloadable features and levels to get as well as playing the multiplayer with actual people.

I give the game 10 out of 10 because it does justice to the original and hauls with it's multiplayer. I do have my complaints, though. The single player mode is censored (I am the Great Mighty Poo and I'm going to throw my $#!& at you!), and Chris Seavor said that the game would be totally UNCENSORED! The multiplayer, howver, can be censored, but it has a "potty mouth" feature that disables the bleeps.

Overall....good game. A definite buy for the mature gamer.

.....Kind of a bold statement don't ya think? Honestly, I don't think Conker can even be compared to Halo. Not by a longshot. There is no comparison, I can guarantee you, Conker will never have as many players as Halo or even come close. From what I've seen of the new Conker.....If you have it for N64, the only thing you're missing is multiplayer, and online capabilities. The multiplayer is NOWHERE near anything like Halo's. Anyway, I think I'll end this post mid

actually mitch i think halo is better myself.  i prefer halo's multiplayer system way better than conker's. while conker is funny and i would play it for its humor, i definatly like halo better   but each to his own, and not everyone of us thinks that nintendo is the way to go either

For the record, Microsoft owns Rare and has no affiliation with Nintendo anymore. In fact, Nintendo often refered to Conker as it's "bastard child." I don't believe CBFD killed the N64 though. It was dead before Conker got on it.

I knew you weren't dissing Conker. I mean, how could you? You were almost on the floor rolling when I played you that one part....but anyways, yeah that was a bold statement, but the real gameplay value is its Xbox Live capabilities, which you can download more stuff for multiplayer.

By the way, I would have taken Snake's opinion more seriously if he hadn't added "I just like FPS games better." I meant, as shooters in general. Not factoring in whiich perspective they are.

I see. Well, the whole point was, it was fun. Surprisingly, it never gets old for me or these guys at this other forum. But I suppose you'd have to appreciate the original Conker for it to have the full effect. Halo does get boring after awhile. Especially Halo 2. They focused too much on story.

I don't have a negative opinion on all the games you say something about, you just play a different type of games that I don't care for. I haven't said anything abut a game I haven't played. And if I haven't played them, I just give my opinion on the game based on the information I've been given and what I've seen. If I remember correctly, you were saying how bad Furcadia was, even though you hadn't even played it. (Now, it has lost it's good players so it isn't all that great, so I couldn't care less) So I don't want to hear about judging games before I've played them. And you're right, I don't have an Xbox, it's a waste of time and money, but Halo is for pc as well as Xbox. I just think you made a very incorrect comparison between Conker and Halo's multiplayers. Conker will never have as many fans as Halo does. It's not even a close competition. There's nothing wrong with Conker, I mean it's funny and all, but nothing compared to Halo. These guys agree Halo's better.

look we've all been guilty at one time or another of judging a game before we have played it.  now saying that a best case senario is that you play a game before you judge it, but if you do research into a game, and everything tells you that the game in question is going to be gay don't play it!

Okay, fair enough. But when you say the publishers said that, did the article specify that Microsoft/a representative of Microsoft said that, or just a representative of the division over Rare? I seriously doubt that Microsoft is gonna say that about Halo, being that it's one of their biggest cash cows...especially since it's multiplayer is the most played multiplayer game since Counter-Strike.
