Well, as for me, I find it....what's the word.......invigorating, exciting, awesome, what-have-you when I'm getting used to a new controller. You know what made Mario 64 so great in my opinion? The fact that it was the first N64 game and it brought with it a new controller that used a joystick, which was new, and I liked it.

I personally look forward to using a controller in each hand. You can quote me on that. It's the next step towards the new generation of gaming, which is the entire purpose of the Nintendo Revolution.

if that is the next generation of controllers for the future then i hope that future dies a quick death now i won't say that i'll never like that kind of controller, but why the need to have an uncomfortable remote in your right hand and a little queer joystick in your left?

personally i find the revolution's controller a step backward in gaming to when controllers were like bricks instead of streamlined controllers of now

why don't we just forget consoles and build a holodeck like from star trek and just act out video games in virtual reality

well i did hear from my friend aaron that nintendo is making a controller for the revolution that will be more like "normal" controllers so that those of us who don't like the remote control interface can go with a more traditional way of gaming so if that's the case then maybe i'll test drive one

That's what we're heading towards with the Nintendo Revolution. I mean, we won't ever get to virtual reality gaming unless we put down the controller, right? This new "remote" controller is the next step towards that.

well my idea of next gen software should be like virtual reality goggles and an interface like gloves you wear to interact with the game environment with your hands physically in a sense

kinda like that movie johnny nmemonic (yes i spelled that correctly)

i would expect to start seeing that kind of technology more common place in the next ten to fifteen years. it already exists, but not much in the private sector (homes and the like)
