Ok, there's been some question as to what to do about distribution of the MMO.
Yu, I'm gonna use you as an example since I know you won't mind.
Yu asked me if he could tell his friend(s) about our MMO and if he could let them download it. The answer is very simple.
OK, here's the answer......
YES!
We're not gonna put something upfor download and then not let anyone download it! That'd be like saying, "Yeah, here's our game. It's up for download but NO ONE CAN PLAY IT! It's just for looks."
So, please, PLEASE do not hesitate to plug our game in any way that you can. The more the better.
MMO: None in the works right now. We may discuss this further, but don't hold your breath.
Rook and Percy: There is a new RPG Maker about to be released that can support the files from the one I'm using since the announcement for it came out so soon after the one I'm using's release. The new maker will be in 3D, so I'm gonna make the game with that. If that doesn't work, I'll just release the game as-is.
Well, there aren't a lot of good screenshots of it, but one of the editors on their website said....
"It features a powerful Direct3d8 graphics engine, FMod and DirectSound3D sound support, Per-Pixel ASM-based collision detection, a Macromedia Flash-like animation system, three-dimensional collision detection, an extremely flexible layer system with an infinite amout of layers supported and many other amazing features :)"
So I'm expecting good things.
EDIT: And wouldn't you know, after I finished posting, I found a screenshot. Keep in mind though, that this is a screenshot from the earlier version.
we have a professional section? oh well, *shrugs* um yeah so again what kind of graphics are we talking about, just pretend my fragile mind is incapable of understanding all the techno-babble right now
