yeah wasd is a great button configuration, but a laptop keyboard just isn't like a desktop keyboard so its harder to play on a laptop keyboard so thats the main reason that i use the arrow keys, and my insert, delete, home, pg up, pg down and end keys aren't layed out the same way on my laptop so i don't use them like i would on the desktop

Well there's not been any activity in this topic for awhile so I'll posta review.
Well about 2 weeks ago I bought myself a fps. and up until then I had never owned or played a fps. so when I got home I put it in the NGC and started my game. The game was Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2. I know most of you are probably think WTF thats a hunting game not a real fps. Well all I can say to that is that I enjoyed it even if I did get killed quite a few times by crockadiles, lions, and fell subject to quicksand a good number of times as well. But like I was saying a pretty good game if you like things sneeking up on you like lions, wolves, mountain lions, highenas, crocks, tigers, etc... I beat the game in about three days...well, not compleately, I've just beaten all the story mode levels, now I just have to go back and unlock all the extra stuff. But like I said I thought it was a pretty fun game and I thoroughly enjoyed it as my first fps game.

well for me when it comes to fps based games, i'm fairly partial to halo and halo 2 mainly because i play it every friday night with aaron and the gang but my philosophy is whatever floats your boat. now the types of games i just don't get how people like is rts based games like command and conquer and stuff like that.

Well, I finally unlocked everything on Goldeneye. Now THAT'S a good FPS. As for RTS games, Starcraft was okay. I've watched Jena play Age of Empires, and it looked identical to Starcraft, except for being set in Medieval times and all.
yea, age of empires is pretty good its something that i enjoyed playing. If your looking for a game where you go out and conquor other nations and civilizations then i would reccomend that and age of mythology. age of mythology is pretty good too although ive only played it once.

yeah goldeneye was like a revolution in fps gameplay back when it came out, and still to this day i would say that goldeneye has been far more of a revolution than halo or halo two because all the successors to goldeneye since 1998 have been somewhat based off of it

Nintendo knows its characters, since most are from the mind of Shigeru Miyamoto himself. I mean, Miyamoto knows his own characters.
Bill Gates knows absolutely NOTHING about Halo except that he makes millions of dollars off of it.
During an interview in early January, Gates made an idiot of himself in the gamer's eye by revealing he doesn't know the first thing about the Master Chief.
He was quoted saying the Master Chief may become Microsoft's mascot because the Chief is "very handsome."
EGM responded with the expected "Uh....hey, dumbass, we've never seen his face."
Of course, silly Billy was embarassed by this, but hey, what does he care? He's rich. And he's getting richer everytime you buy another non-revolutionary Halo game? In my opinion, Halo was not revolutionary at all.....unless you call "losing your shield and getting it back 10 seconds later" revolutionary.
