About time.

As a side note, the thread in the 'Announcements' section was deleted by Murasume. However, I have it logged, so none of the posts were lost.

As for you two and your constant bickering...take it somewhere else. I come here to try and take my mind off of all the arguing that happens in my house, and what do I get? More arguing. Mura and I are fed up with this crap.

mura, snake...thank you for seeing this too. you don't know how much relief this brings me that i'm not the only one here like snake said, i want to relieve my stress when i'm here, not get a double dose of stress for the day.

okay here was my last post in the deleted thread, i don't want ot spark an argument, but i want mitch to see this guys so here it is:

you know you could just post this thread else where so it doesn't mess with your high and mighty rules or something. i mean i wish that you and themessenger wouldn't be at each other's throats all the time no matter who the aggressor is, but she isn't the only one you do this to.

you delete johar's posts all the time, and yes i understand that they don't have any meaning to them, but you know we all have a voice here, and some of them are noobie voices. now you even argue with the the other moderators (snake) about stuff you don't agree with. like i think it was some game that snake liked better than another that you liked, and you two got pretty heated, and then you threatend to ban the next person who posted about that topic the argument was over. now i'm a man of peace (most of the time) and i don't like to keep arguments brewing, but you exercise your powers like a spoiled brat at times. i mean, it's a privilige to be here? you have to remember that it's a public forum, and yeah if someone's being unruly then ban them, but other than mayber tom; what have the others that you've threatend to ban done. posted irrelevant crap, and called you a dick. well, yeah i hate when people call me a dick or something, but i'm old enough to take a few insults, and you overreacted to this.

now i'm not angry, but seriously you do come across as a dick to people at times. now i know that we can all be dicks at times. now i don't condone themessenger for calling you a dick, but your actions since then have been very dickish. i'm not taking her side, but this is my opinion about this. now all i ask is before you delete this thread, please read this because i don't want to have to copy and paste this in another thread.

And it wouldn't be me if I didn't say something in my defense.

The only reason I delete posts is if they're there only to up your post count or only remark the fact that you "have no idea what's going on here." If you don't understand something, then you should either ask about it, leave without posting, pretend to understand, but whatever you do, don't post "I don't know what's going on here" or anything of the like. And yes, Kaney, I realize that there are a some noobs here, but I never delete posts if they sound noobish. I only delete them for the reason stated earlier or because they're too short without a point or an accompanying picture or web address link (i.e. "lol" does not count as a legitimate post.), and believe me, Johar posted that like 15,000,000,000 times. I will however, make note of their noobiness because this is the internet.

Mura, all I have to say to you is that you're the head here and you're never around to "moderate" anything. You need me to do that, so don't start with the "being a moderator is a privelege" stuff. If you want to take away my moderation powers, you'll have to be on here 300% more often to actually know whats going on. Just acknowledge that you need me. All I want is a little respect around here. A little "I scratch your back by keeping Tom from posting dead babies outside the Mature section, you scratch mine" kind of thing. Peace, brother.

And for the record, the relationship betwixt Messenger and I could have been settled outside of the forum had she not called me what she did. That hurt. I have feelings too. I don't abuse my moderating powers. I only use them to keep this place active, flowing, interesting, and smoke-free.

P.S.: When I stated that the thread was most likely to be deleted soon, I was expecting Mura to do it. I did not state to nor intend to do so myself. Nowadays, I don't do anything like that without his consent (which may take awhile).

I'm not threatening to take your moderation powers away. And you apparently have forgotten that Snake is a moderator as well and he can do a good job with it. I am here a lot more often than you think. Just because I don't post, doesn't mean I don't read the crap. And your excuse of settling the argument off of the forum, this isn't a new thing, it's been happening since she got on here. And it is a privilege to be a moderator, it is not a right. It takes two to argue, unless you're one of the few who can argue with a brick wall.

All I ask for is a little recognition. I've been moderator here for a year now, and oes anyone care? No. But will people call me a dick? Absolutely.

okay and i agree that there are some posts that should be deleted like tom's really bad posts that are outside of the mature section, and that little posts like "lol" are just taking up space, but there have been times that johar posted something more than just "lol" or something of the like, and you deleted it just because it didn't go with your train of thought or something like that. atleast that's the impression that i got.

i understand what themessenger said was not nice, and she should be the bigger person and apologize for name-calling, but you're 18 mitch and like me we're both old enough to take a few insults from time to time. i take my share too. if you dish out something; you have to be willing to take it to.

yes i will agree mitch, it's hard to see what is really going on from my monitor, but i've read some of johar's posts you've deleted, and now while i can't quote them; they weren't that bad.

I may not be all flashy and tell people outright what's going on, but you can bet your ass that I do my fair share around here. I check this forum almost every day. I've voiced my opinion several times of SEVERAL subjects, but does anyone really say anything? Nope. Do I REALLY care? Not really. You fail to realize that I've done this before. The point of being a moderator is to MONITOR: you don't need to vocalize what you do every minute.

Actually, knowing these people in real life doesn't have anything to do with being a moderator. This is a forum: an internet chat area. If you act like this is real life (and take issues from here into the real world), then...well, that's a bit sad.

I've moderated over close friends in the past. Did that make it any different? No.
