Pardon the language, if it offends you. I just read the first 30 pages in a novel we got to do for a certain class... And DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNGGGGG... That does NOT sound like fun... Just... Just... Damn... If you ever need to threaten someone... read them the first 30 or so pages of "The Hot Zone" and then promise to make them experience it... I don't care who they are, they WILL spill there guts.... No pun intended >_>;;
well, the last time that i had a book to read for a class, i just went to cliffsnotes.com and read a short summary of the book. my idea of what hell would be like is spending eternity at palpatine going over his sithlord baseball card collection. i mean enough of darth curveball and his ability to get to 3rd base on the field!

Im so glad I decided to take regular University English rather than AP. I would have had to read two books...both would put someone to sleep. Come to think of it, I actually DID fall asleep when I was reading The Scarlet Letter for class this year.

Dude, The Scarlet Letter is the ultimate "Sucks To Be You" book.
It sucks to be the main character cos she's an outcast (for a while....), and it sucks to be the preacher guy cos he's the one who caused all the problems to begin with.
Why is it that people "love a good tragedy"? Seems kinda inhumane to me that people love to see a story end in heartbreak/mass death/failue of main character etc...
Well, you beat me. I didnt even get through the introductory chapter before I fell asleep. I never read the book, but I DID read the cliffnotes and got a 100 on the test over it.

hey princess garnet that reminds me of physics class. somehow by the grace of god alone i passed that class, and all i did was sleep in that class, never did any homework, and i didn't make over an 80 on any of the tests :)
