Well, the general section is for questions and statements not related to the site or games, while the Random Stuff section is for people who just want to rant. Does that make sense?
Oh, and I also might add that the Random Stuff section hardly makes sense, while the General boards are mostly structured or legitimate questions. Most of the stuff in the Random Stuff section is people rambling on and on about topics that only interest them, but from what I've seen from our old JK2 forum, the Random Stuff section is usually the most active, so it's good to have one.
