Heck yeah, I've heard about it! From what I've read, this is gonna be a "Mature Zelda". That could mean one of two things: Either this is gonna be M Rated, or it could be referring to Link seeing as he is grown up in this one. Nintendo said that they've done all they can with Young Link, so they let him grow up.

Anyway, it looks amazing. Can't wait for it!

Ha! I don't think it'll be THAT bad. But I have seen screenshots and it IS bloody.

(If you noticed in Ocarina of Time, there was blood, but it was blue.)

ya i noticed the blood was blue for some reason but anyway im glad im not the only one excited about the new zelda game. any clue what the games about though?

Sorry, but I don't know what's going on story-wise....Originally, the new Zelda was supposed to be a sequel to the Wind Waker. They might have scrapped that idea, though since I haven't seen any screenshots of water. (For those of you who don't know, LoZ:WW was literally COVERED with water...)

Still, game companies like Nintendo don't release much details 'til it comes out. I'm sure you've seen the screenshots, and it's not cel-shaded this time. (Wind Waker, being cel-shaded, didn't flow too well with some. They said the celshading mad it look too "kiddy".)

Yep, that be a cat hes holding. They released a new trailer a short time ago for it, in which you see Link fighting a VERY large spider. As in bigger than the tarantula in that old 60's movie. He also gets to ride (and fight on) a horse, as well as a...giant...pig thing. Thats pretty much all there is to it, apart from him fighting a bunch of things....

Its looking to me more like a continuation of the Ocarina of Time storyline than that of the Wind Waker. Some people think it might also be a remake of the original Zelda on Nintendo...but I doubt that.

Indeed, the Zelda series keeps on getting better....graphics-wise as well as story-wise. I think one of the factors that made Wind Waker great was that it made a lot of references to the older Zelda games.

I've seen a trailer of the new one, but not the one Snake is referring to. Snake, could you give us a link to that trailer or tell us where we could find it? I'd like to see it. It looks all Tim Burton-y

The trailer i saw was on the same website as the one with the screen shots, but u might b talkin about a different trailer than the one i saw though i dont really remember what all was on the trailer i saw so i dont no.

Just thought i would update u guys on what ive heard. the new LOZ game is going to be called Twilight Princess. then again i guess u could have looked at Mitch's new siggy too.

Hey, I think I figured out what the deal is with Link and those cats. Apparently, since Link can change between himself and a wolf, he can communicate with animals. That's the theory at least.

The question remains though, can you keep them as pets? And if so, where does Link get them?

well the only zelda game i've ever played was ocarina of time so i don't have much of an opinion of zelda either way, but i thought that windwaker looked too childish with the cell shaded graphics so i've never played it. plus i like rpg games that are more turn based that hacking and slashing with your sword or something however, i think from what little i've seen from this new zelda, i may play it.

well it doesn't look bad jena, i might even look into it myself later. i think that there is going to be a stargate sg-1 video game released at the end of this year, its going to be a fps, and even though i'm not much of an fps person, i'm will buy that game. for those who know me stargate is my favorite show and i'm all too intrigued by the idea of playing as col. jack o'neill shooting at jaffa.

well i will say this atleast link looks normal, man in that last one he looked like some big headed retard that needed to be took out and shot as an act of mercy, but thats just my point of view. i don't really complain much about games graphics but man hey your breaking my ba*** here nintendo.

i wonder if it would be too much to ask nintendo if they would do a more present day version of the legend of zelda: the 21 century or something... just a thought

Wow. Nice town. I love it already.

I attempted making a modern day Zelda game with my old game maker, but it didn't go as planned....especially when I couldn't find any good Link sprites.

well for me i've just seen so much castles and dragons stuff over the last few years that i really don't care for it so much right now, but i'm more of the ultra modern type so i like cyberspace, starships and stuff like that you know.
